The major discriminating elements in the range of Monthélys wines are freshness, respect for the terroir and grape varieties, and the typicality of the schist soils, thus producing sunny wines, either young and lively, or more elegant with discreet tannins.

Gris de Schiste  AOP Faugères

Ruby colour.
Powerful nose of spices, pepper, red fruits.

Its freshness on the palate, the discretion of its tannins particularly reveal the terroir of Faugeres.

A wine par excellence for conviviality, simple and gourmet pleasures.

Dominant Grenache 60%, associated with Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre.

It is an astonishing red; charming in its youth, its aromas will become more complex over 2 to 3 years.


Bleus de Schiste AOP Faugères

Blend of Syrah harvested at full maturity, Mourvèdre and Grenache.

Dark ruby colour, this cuvée develops aromas of garrigue, black fruit and spices, seductive by the substance it gives off. A more structured, elegant wine, with fullness in the mouth.

Ors de schistE AOP Faugères

Blend of Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre

Put in vats in whole bunches, matured for 18 months in vats.

Its intense colour heralds moments of pleasure; aromas of candied black fruits, spices, chocolate, etc.


White AOP Languedoc

Yellow gold colour.

Pretty nose of white fruit, pear, peach, brioche.

Combining freshness and roundness, this white wine develops a nice length in the mouth.

A blend of Grenache blanc and Marsanne.
